Viewer
The Viewer of cmr42 is an advanced key part of the framework. It is designed to instantly display CMR images in high quality. It provides the interface for the user interaction with both, images and measurement tools.
Studies can be viewed in a single-view or in a quad-screen view mode. Additionally the whole study or a user selection of series can be viewed in a multiview or a slide-show. This provides an easy workflow for case review sessions.
Image display
The display uses advanced and accurate interpolation techniques. For general display of images, cmr42 uses bicubic splines interpolation. If display properties have to change quickly (ie. for panning, zooming or cine view), the viewer frame switches to fast display. The user typically interacts with the display using the mouse. Easy functionality allows for switching display actions without long-distance movements of the cursor. The shape of the cursor symbol indicates the current function mode.
The following actions are typically used during a viewing session:
- windowing resp. adjusting contrast/brightness (held middle mouse button)
- zooming (mouse wheel or moving held left mouse button at the right edge of the window frame)
- panning (held left mouse button)
- cine display (double click to start/stop)
- cine speed in running cine loop (held left mouse button up/down)
