This module allows for the assessment of blood flow velocity-encoded images. Two windows on the display show the phase and modulus image side-by-side; contours are displayed in both. After drawing up to four regions of interest, quantitative parameters such as mean velocity, stroke volume and derived parameters are instantaneously calculated, listed and graphically displayed in an interactive diagram. The user can select ranges within the cardiac cycle for selective evaluation with the adjustment of sliders. Using simple mouse tools, selected data on mean velocity and volume in relation to non-selected data can be obtained. Obtained data can be used to quantify valvular insufficiency. Baseline correction is possible.
