Early Enhancement*
This module provides functionality for calculating normalized contrast enhancement (so-called early or relative enhancement) as well as signal-intensity ratios between different tissues such as heart muscle and skeletal muscle. This is used for advanced characterization of tissue pathology. For contrast-enhanced studies, the contours are automatically forwarded to the corresponding pre- or post-contrast slice; quantitative results are shown instantaneously in a separate data window.
* The Tissue Characterization Module is not available in the USA since the use of contrast agents for Cardiac MR procedures is not approved by the FDA. A non-diagnostic version of cmr42 , intended to be used only for scientific research is available on request.
